A Dose of Serena Pitt, Founder of Reset the Label

Introducing this month's "A Dose of...", where we feature beauty enthusiasts on how they seek pleasure and build their own pleasure ritual. For this season on "A Dose of..." we're featuring Serena Pitt, co-founder of Reset the Label.

If anyone is getting a rose from us, it’s Serena Pitt. The star first graced our screens during season 25 of The Bachelor, and she quickly gained our respect when she quit the show. No, it’s not because we’re The Bachelor haters (in fact, we can’t get enough of the show). It’s because Pitt knew what she wanted and what she didn’t want, and chose to stay true to her emotions—even if that meant cutting ties with someone on national television.

It was honestly such an iconic move, and since, she has only been on the upswing. She returned to The Bachelor franchise for season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise and won, started her own luxury travel accessory brand, RESET the label, and co-hosts “Bachelor Happy Hour” with her beau, Joe Amabile (yes, they’re still going strong, yay!).

Juggling so many wins can be super rewarding—but a packed schedule can make it really easy to forget to make time for self-care. We needed to know how she manages the fine balance between business and pleasure, so we sat down with Pitt to find out every little thing she does to make herself feel great. Ahead, a Dose of Serena Pitt.

How do you seek pleasure for yourself?
I seek pleasure for myself by allowing myself to forever indulge in the parts of life that feel good to my mind, body, and soul! I never feel guilty for getting desert or having a glass of wine or taking a nap if that is what I’m craving in the moment. Pleasure can come in all different forms, big or small, and I think life is too short to deny yourself any of it.

What is your daily skincare + beauty routine?
I like to keep it simple most days.
AM routine – Cleanse, hydrating serum, gentle moisturizer, sunscreen.
PM routine – Cleansing oil or melting balm to remove makeup if I wore any, cleanse, gentle moisturizer. I have very sensitive skin and have found that the simpler my skincare routine the better.
Daily makeup – low to medium coverage foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, brows, mascara…Using only 2-3 makeup products is so rare for me even on light makeup days! It’s either no make-up at all or like 8+ products.

What is your definition of self-care?
How I view self-care has really changed for me in the last year. I used to see it as bubble baths and napping but now it has turned into really prioritizing what I need to do to make myself feel my best every day.

For example, a goal of mine this year is to prioritize organizing my space. This isn’t necessarily a relaxing task, but it makes me feel so much better when I am working or just hanging out and my apartment is organized. When the organization of my space slips to the bottom of my to-do list because I am prioritizing other things in my life, it affects my sense of well-being. So, to me, self-care is putting first the tasks in your life that are necessary to feel your best whether that’s meal prepping, reading, going to bed early, time with family, etc.

Serena's Favourite RESET the Label Pieces

There is no doubt that the RESET Fanny Pack is the fan favourite of the 3 products we currently have available. We are totally sold out of the Fanny Pack in Cognac and are almost out in Black as well. I’m so proud of that piece and am considering restocking it!

I personally think the most underrated product is the accessory case. Everyone that uses it raves about it because it’s so functional and I think the design is super sleek.

I’m excited to see the response to our 2024 drops though, there is a RESET product coming out this year that I think is going to be my new fav!

What advice would you give to your younger self?
I don’t have a lot, if any, regrets looking back on my life. I think I would tell my younger self to not stress about every little decision. I would tell her that she is so capable and knows in her gut what’s best for herself so to just trust that and enjoy the amazing journey ahead.

What is your cocktail of the moment?
I’ve been absolutely in love with extra dirty grey goose martinis for the last few years, so much that it was the specialty cocktail at my wedding this past fall. By extra dirty I mean filthy with olive juice and 3 regular olives, no blue cheese please! I’ve also been loving floral cocktails lately, specifically ones with elderflower liquor! They’re so cute and refreshing!
